What's new?

Campaign module

Introducing the new Campaign Module (Beta version)

🤓Tip: Interested in early access? Ask your Account Manager about becoming an early adopter.

  • The Campaign module has been rebuilt from the ground up into a single, uninterrupted flow. No full page reloads, no lost context.

  • New content blocks and row-level display options give you finer creative control over how your campaigns look.

  • Smart Check automatically reviews your campaign for accessibility and optimisation issues before you send, catching problems before they reach your customers.

  • Comment directly on a campaign within the approval workflow, keeping feedback and sign-off in one place.

  • Your existing campaigns aren't affected; they'll continue to work normally.

  • Interested in early access? Ask your Account Manager about becoming an early adopter.

⚠️Important: Your existing campaigns aren't affected; they'll continue to work normally.

Voucher module

Offers with voucher limits can no longer be edited if they’re in an active campaign

  • We’ve introduced a safety catch to ensure that offers with a voucher generation limit can no longer be edited while they're being used in a campaign.

  • A pop-up now warns you which campaign(s) the offer is used in, so you can't accidentally make changes that would affect it mid-send.

Loyalty module

Point-Balance tier evaluation: reward customers based on their actual point balance, not just points earned

  • New "Point-Balance" evaluation type for Tier Rules, alongside the existing Points and Visits options. Rather than basing tier movement on points earned over a set period, this evaluates a customer's current point balance, so points they've already burned are excluded from their tier calculation.

  • For example, previously, if you had earned 3,000 points but burned 2,000 points within the evaluation period, you would remain in a VIP tier. However, with this new feature, the tier calculation will take into account how many points you’ve burned too. So as your current balance will be 1,000 points, you will be moved into the Bronze tier.

  • Switching an existing program to Point-Balance reassigns customers’ tier based on their current balance.

New "Promotion Points" option in Tier Rules: choose whether promotion points count towards tier movement

  • Points earned specifically through Loyalty promotions (using the Promotion feature in the Loyalty module) can now optionally be counted towards a customer's tier movement, via a new checkbox in Tier Rules.

  • For example, if you are running a Double Stamps promotion on a Monday, you can now choose whether the extra stamps earned during that promotion will be included in a Loyalty Tier calculation.

  • It will be disabled by default, so enable it if you want promotion points to affect tier progression, alongside points earned through normal activity.

New Sub Groups of Products option in Loyalty earning criteria

  • Loyalty stamps or points can now be restricted to specific product sub-groups, not just full product groups or individual products.

  • Customers earn stamps/points only when their transaction includes an item from the selected sub-group.

  • Saves time and manual effort. No need to tick off individual products one-by-one or rely on developer support to set this up.

Survey Builder

Category removal warning now also covers sub-categories used in Survey Routing

  • Attempting to remove a sub-category that's currently used in Survey Routing now shows a warning, naming the survey that needs updating first.

  • The same protection is already in place for categories.

Platform settings

New "API User" toggle on user setup: control whether a user goes through EVO or Acteol directly

  • User profiles can now be tagged as an API user, determining which welcome email they receive: users tagged for EVO access receive the EVO welcome email, while non-EVO users receive the Atreemo welcome email instead.

  • The same logic applies when resending credentials and the correct welcome email is sent based on the user's tag.

  • This means simple API-only accounts can be set up directly on Acteol's side without going through EVO, avoiding password mismatches when generating bearer tokens for API access.

New customisable member number prefix: add your own

  • You can now set a custom prefix for member numbers, configurable from Settings.

  • Adds an extra layer of security by making member numbers unique and identifiable to your instance.

  • Only newly created member numbers will use the updated prefix. Existing member numbers are not affected.

Extended date range options on API Calls log

  • The API Calls log filter now includes longer time ranges (Last 7 days, Last month, and Custom date range) in addition to the existing shorter options, making it easier to look back on historical API activity.
