You can use the AI content assistant to help generate campaign content, saving you time when creating email campaigns. The assistant can suggest a subject line during campaign setup, and generate body content from the Design step.

Generate a subject line using AI

The AI Content Generator is available in the campaign creation step. You can use it to generate subject line suggestions based on your campaign topic, tone of voice, and other preferences. To add a subject line using the AI-powered content assistant, follow the steps below:

  1. From the left-hand menu, click Campaigns.

  2. Click Campaign Builder.

  3. Work through the steps until you reach the Create step, then click Use Smart Object Insert.

  4. From the AI Content Generator, add the relevant details:

    1. In the Topic field, enter a short description of your campaign.

For example: "Summer sale on outdoor furniture"

    2. Use the Approx. Words slider to set the length of the subject line, or type a number directly:

      • 5–8 words: concise and punchy.

      • 8–12 words: balanced.

      • Longer: more descriptive.

    3. Open the Tone of Voice dropdown and choose the style that matches your brand:

      • Polite.

      • Witty.

      • Friendly.

      • Informational.

      • Funny.

      • Motivating.

      • Professional.

      • Formal.

      • Curious.

      • Conversational.

      • Technical.

      • Neutral.

      • Assertive.

  5. If you want emojis included in the subject line, toggle Include Emoji.

  6. Select how many subject line variations you want: 1, 2, or 3. More variations give you more choices to pick from.

  7. Click Generate.

⚠️ Important: AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies. Always review and refine the subject line to ensure it aligns with your message and brand voice.

  8. Review the suggestions, then click Add to Editor to select the one that best fits your campaign.

🤓Tip: Once you add the relevant version, you can edit as needed before applying it to your email.

Best practices

  • Keep subject lines under 50 characters for better open rates.

  • Use action-oriented language, for example.

  • Avoid spammy words, for example, FREE!!!.

  • Personalise the subject line where possible.
