Written by Fatma Abid

You create new campaigns to contact your customers in the Campaigns module.

The new campaign builder guides you through a six-step wizard. To create a campaign, follow the steps below:

  1. From the left-hand menu, click Campaigns.

  2. Click Campaigns Overview, then click Create New Campaign.

  3. Work through the steps:

    • Name & Channels

    • Channel Setup

    • Audience (selection, sender details, and voucher)

    • Content

    • Preview

    • Schedule

📌 Note: The old single Campaign Builder page with Target / Create / Voucher / Sender / Design / Schedule sections has been replaced by this stepped wizard. The choice of channels, category, voucher and sender is now spread across the steps below rather than on one screen.

Name & Channels

This is where you name your campaign and choose how you want to reach your customers. This replaces choosing the channel on the old Target screen.

  1. Enter a Campaign Title. This is required and is for internal reference to help you distinguish your campaigns.

  2. Under Select Channels, choose one or more channels.

⚠️ Important: Choose your channels carefully. Once you are past this step, the channels are locked and can't be changed.

  3. Each channel is a card. Click the Email channel checkbox.

📌 Note: A selected checkbox has a teal border.

  4. At the bottom of the page, click Continue.

🤓 Tip: The Continue button stays greyed out until you've entered a valid title and selected at least one channel. The required markers turn from red to green once both are set.

Channel Setup

Here you set the campaign category and any automation or split-test options if needed. See more.

  1. Select a Campaign Category from the drop-down.

  2. Click Continue.

Audience

Here you add your selection, set the sender details, and optionally attach a voucher.

Sender Profile

  • From Choose your Sender profile drop down, select the relevant sender profile.

Add your selection

To choose who receives the campaign, select a target type:

  • No selection: If you campaign is waiting for approval from the supervisor or another team member to create the selection.

  • Selection: Opens the Choose a Selection pop-up where you can select a previously saved selection, or build a new one inline through the embedded Contact Segmentation window.

    • To choose a saved selection, click the rounded checkbox by the relevant selection.

    • To create a new selection, click Create New Selection.

  • External List: For Email or SMS campaigns you can upload a CSV/XLSX file, preview the header/rows, map the Email/Mobile columns, name the list, then use it as your audience.

📌 Note: Once a selection type is saved for the campaign, the other target-type options are locked, so only the saved type can be used.

Sender Details

Expand the Sender Details section to add UTM codes to help you track your campaign's links.

  1. To add the UTM codes, click Add UTM Codes button.

  2. Add the relevant UTM details:

    • Source.

    • Medium.

    • Term.

    • Content.

Voucher Settings (optional)

To attach a voucher, expand Voucher Settings and answer Yes to "Do you want to setup a voucher for this campaign?":

  • To use an existing voucher, find it in the Existing Vouchers grid (searchable by offer code, title or category) and click Use (or Preview to review it first).

  • To create a new voucher offer, click Create a New Voucher, then proceed with the needed setup.

Click Continue.

Content

This is the design step. Here you set the subject/preheader and design the email.

  1. Click Setup content, select the relevant template, then click Confirm.

  2. Open the email builder for the Email channel. It opens with Subject and Preheader fields.

    • The subject line will be visible to your customers.

    • The preheader will be visible to your customers, it will appear under the subject line and lets you add more detail.

  3. Design your email in the drag-and-drop email builder. Optional tools include the:

    • AI Content Generator (Generate / Edit / Fix).

    • Spell Check.

    • Smart Check (accessibility & links).

    • The AI Spam Checker.

  4. When you're finished, click Save, then click Save & Apply.

  5. A Verifying Email check runs (subject, links, personalisation fields and images),.

  6. Click Proceed & Close, then click Save.

⚠️ Important: The Subject field shows a recommended-length counter that turns amber once you go over the recommended length (around 60 characters for the subject, 100 for the preheader).

🤓 Tip: You can send a test email to yourself or colleagues before launching. Click Send test icon and add recipients to the test email box.

📌 Note: A pop-up appears if you haven't added a preheader. This isn't essential, you can either skip it or add one.

  7. Click Continue.

Preview

In the Preview step, review the rendered email in the Email Preview to confirm it matches what you built before scheduling.

  • Click Select a matching contact to allow you to preview what will a specific contact view. This includes the subject line, preheader and content are personalised for that customer.

    • You can send test using the selected contact's data.

  • The preview step allows you to see how the email will look on:

    • Desktop view: Click the desktop icon.

    • Tablet view: Click the tablet icon.

    • Mobile view: Click the mobile icon.

    • A light mode view: Click the light mode icon.

    • An approximate dark mode view: Click the dark mode icon.

Schedule

In the Schedule step you set when the campaign sends and then launch it.

  • Priority: Select Low, Normal, or High priority.

  • Send date: When your campaign will be sent.

    • From the Select date drop-down, choose the date on which you'd like to send the campaign.

    • From the clock icon, select the exact time at which you'd like to send the campaign.

  • Expire(s) on: The final date and time that the email sends.

🤓 Tip: "Expires On" defines the end send date and time for the campaign. This is particularly useful for campaigns promoting a special offer, promotion or event where customers need to be informed within a specific timeframe. Setting an expiry date ensures the campaign will not be sent after the promotion or event is no longer relevant. The Expires On date and time are required for all campaigns.

  • Repeat send: From the drop-down, select the number of the reminder send if you want to send the same email to recipients again.

  • Interval (days): How many days after the initial send the resend is scheduled for.

  • Send to: Choose who receives the reminder send:

    • Who didn't open the email.

    • Who opened the email.

    • All recipients.

Weather (Campaign Trigger)

You can schedule your campaign to send based on weather conditions and temperature at a chosen location.

  1. Next to Weather, click Customise

  2. In the weather trigger pop-up, select the location. Start typing and pick from the location suggestions.

  3. Choose the Campaign Trigger Rules:

    • Select the weather conditions. for example sun, cloud, rain, wind, snow.

    • Set a temperature range.

  4. Save the trigger. The configured conditions are then displayed on the Schedule step

📌 Note: Before launch, a Campaign Export Fields window may appear listing the used and unused export fields. Save applies your changes and launches; Skip launches without changes.

🤓 Tip: When the campaign launches, you'll see a confirmation message and the campaign appears in the relevant tab of the Campaign Overview grid.
