The new campaign builder includes updates to both the standard push notification editor and the Innovatise push editor. The core functionality remains the same, with changes to how settings are labelled, accessed, and organised.
Standard push editor
The standard push editor lets you create push notification campaigns with a title, message, and optional action button.
Key changes
Personalisation fields are limited to three options: First Name, Last Name, and Email.
The character limit is 780 characters.
The action button supports direct links or deep links.
The Analytics Label field is pre-filled with the campaign title.
The emoji picker is no longer available in the standard push editor.
📌 Note: The SLP link option for the action button has been removed. Use a direct link or deep link instead.
Adding optional fields
You can add optional fields (Field Name and Value pairs) to your push notification. Click Add Field to add a new row. The table displays columns in the order: Field Name | Value | Actions.
Innovatise push editor
The Innovatise push editor is for clients working with Innovatise. In Campaign Builder Evolved, it uses two tabs: Templates and Manual.
Templates tab
The Templates tab shows your saved templates as cards. Each card displays a preview of the content elements. Click Use Template on the card you want to apply.
Manual tab
Manual mode lets you build your push notification content element by element. Click Add Element to add a Title, Text, Image, or Button element. A preview panel to the right of the content area updates as you build.
The Notification toggle in the Display section controls whether the content push is shown on the user's device. This is available in Manual mode only.
Conversation
The Conversation field is required. Select the relevant conversation from the dropdown before saving.
📌 Note: In the Innovatise push editor, saving is handled automatically when you click Continue to move to the next step.
