Home page and design
Redesigned homepage and platform navigation
The sidebar has transitioned from a dark theme to a light, streamlined design, featuring refreshed icons and clearer labels for improved navigation. All modules are now directly accessible from the sidebar, removing the need for the previous “More” menu and reducing unnecessary clicks. Account settings and user information have also been relocated to the bottom-left of the sidebar, creating a more cohesive and
intuitive layout. The header and footer have been simplified to maintain consistency and reduce visual clutter.
The homepage continues to surface the same key information, but now within a more refined and structured layout that enhances readability and focus:

Single Customer View module
New contact segmentation is now the default
The updated Contact Segmentation, introduced in release 1.19 (November 2024), is now the default experience across the platform. The original version has been fully retired.
The new Contact Segmentation brought with it a number of meaningful improvements over the original:
Favourite selections and nodes for quicker access to the criteria you use most
A more guided, visual experience when building and managing selections
AI-powered guidance to help you build smarter audience segments faster
If you've already been using the new version, nothing changes for you. If you're encountering it for the first time, you'll find everything you need is still there, just better.
Segmentation: Wizard nodes no longer show misleading zero counts
What was happening: In the segmentation data tree, wizard nodes were displaying a customer count of "0" next to each entry. Because these nodes work differently from standard ones, a meaningful count isn't available.
What we've fixed: Wizard nodes no longer display a count at all. The "0" is simply removed for these node types, removing the confusion. Standard nodes continue to display their counts as normal.
Who this affects: Anyone working with segmentation and the data tree, particularly users building audience segments using wizard nodes.

Campaign Builder
Asset library
The Asset Library has been completely reimagined for Acteol 2.0, introducing a faster, smarter, and more intuitive way to manage and discover your assets.
At the core of this update is a fully redesigned browsing experience. Assets are now presented in a clean, modern grid with clearer thumbnails, file type indicators, and a more structured folder navigation.
Everything has been reorganised to reduce friction and help you find what you need at a glance. Key shortcuts like Favourites, Recently Added, Most Used, and Last Used are now front and center, so your most relevant content is always within reach.
Search and discovery have taken a leap forward. With a powerful new filtering system, you can instantly narrow down assets by date range, file type, size, uploader, or usage context, all from a single, streamlined panel. What used to take multiple steps now happens in seconds.
The AI image generation tool has also evolved. With the new prompt-assist feature, you’re guided toward crafting more effective prompts, making it easier to generate high-quality, relevant visuals without trial and error.
The Asset Library isn’t just updated, it’s been rebuilt to keep up with how you work today.

Vouchers Module
Three key pages within the Vouchers module, Manage Categories, Offers, and Voucher Management (previously Redemptions and Find Voucher), have been redesigned as part of Acteol 2.0, bringing a clearer and more structured experience across the board.
Navigation is more intuitive, with a cleaner layout, a more organized offers table, and clearer status indicators. Actions that were previously scattered across multiple icons are now consolidated into a single, streamlined dropdown, reducing clutter and making day-to-day operations more efficient.
Alongside the visual improvements, several long-awaited capabilities are now available:
Direct removal of external vouchers: Previously, removing externally uploaded voucher codes required intervention from the support team. You can now handle this directly within the platform, giving you full control without delays.
Paste voucher codes instantly: Voucher codes can now be pasted directly into the platform, no need to prepare and upload a file, making quick updates and last-minute additions effortless.
Automatic validation on upload: External voucher uploads are now automatically scanned before processing. The system detects and handles issues such as duplicate codes (within the file or already existing), invalid code lengths, and improperly formatted entries. Problematic codes are filtered out, and a clear validation summary shows exactly what was identified and how it was handled, so you can move forward with confidence or make adjustments as needed.
This marks the foundation of Acteol 2.0, with additional modules set to be redesigned and rolled out in upcoming updates.

Feedback & Enquiries
Enquiry edit now opens in a full-screen tab
What was happening: Clicking to edit an enquiry or feedback item opened it in a small popup window with fixed dimensions, making it difficult to view and work with all the details.
What we've fixed: Editing an enquiry or feedback item now opens the feedback profile in a new full-screen browser tab, giving you the full width and height of your screen to review and update details. This applies across the Manage Feedback page, Feedback Dashboard and League Tables.
Who this affects: All users who manage feedback and enquiries from those pages.
Data Retention
Preview affected contacts in segmentation
What was happening: When reviewing your data retention settings, there was no quick way to see exactly which contacts would be affected before the policy ran.
What we've added: A new Preview button on the Data Retention settings page opens Contact Segmentation with the affected contacts already loaded as a selection. You can review, explore, and even share this directly with stakeholders for approval before anything is processed.
Who this affects: All users managing data retention policies.
Sales Lead Portal
Revenue field limit removed
What was happening: The Actual Revenue field in the Sales Lead Portal was capped at £5,000 when marking a lead as a "Sale". For higher-value transactions, this prevented accurate revenue figures from being recorded against leads.
What we've fixed: The £5,000 cap has been removed. You can now enter any revenue value that reflects your actual transaction size, ensuring your lead reporting and revenue tracking are accurate across all business lines.
Who this affects: All users of the Sales Lead Portal who track revenue against leads.
Fixes in this release
Sales Lead Portal
Exports now respect the selected date range
The SLP export now strictly respects the date range you select. If you export leads for a specific period, only leads within that exact window will be included, no more stray entries from adjacent months appearing in your results.
Campaigns
Selections now retain criteria when created via shortcut
Selections created through the Single Customer View shortcut now correctly save and retain all their criteria throughout the campaign creation process. When you navigate back to the Target step, you will see the full criteria exactly as you defined them, and the contact count will match the saved selection.
Dynamic subject line editing and personalisation restored
You can now open, edit, and personalise dynamic subject lines without the page refreshing. The issue was caused by interactive links inside the dialogue that were inadvertently triggering a page navigation when clicked. We have corrected those links so they respond to your clicks properly, keeping the dialogue open and inserting your personalisation fields as expected.
Adding personalisation fields no longer refreshes the page
Inserting personalisation fields into the subject line now works smoothly without triggering a page refresh.
You can add personalisation tokens to your subject lines and continue editing your campaign without any interruption or data loss.
Calendar display now loads correctly without page refresh
When clicking the "Calendar display" button on the Campaign Summary page, the page would refresh instead of showing the calendar view.
We have corrected the issue added error handling to gracefully handle edge cases in campaign data processing.
Campaign template preview dark mode toggle now correctly reverts to normal view
The dark mode toggle now cleanly restores your template preview to its original state every time you switch back. We've changed the approach so that only the specific colour adjustments made by dark mode are tracked and reversed, your preview content stays intact throughout.
Campaign templates headline text no longer splits mid-word
The campaign template editor no longer inserts unwanted spacing characters when you apply different colors to parts of a headline. Your multicolored titles will now wrap correctly at word boundaries in both desktop and mobile previews.
Surveys
Location data now passes correctly to triggered campaigns
Survey responses that include a location question now correctly pass the selected location through to any campaign triggered by that survey. The system identifies when a survey answer relates to a location, resolves the full location details, and includes them in the campaign trigger so your personalised content displays the right location information every time.
Question types panel no longer hidden by sidebar
When the left-hand navigation sidebar was expanded, it covered the Question Types panel in the Survey Builder, making it impossible to add or manage survey questions. The toggle button to open the panel was
also hidden behind the sidebar. The panel now correctly appears to the right of the sidebar when expanded, and the toggle button remains visible and clickable at all times.
Journey Builder
Social campaign content now populates when reusing campaigns
Social campaign content now correctly populates when reusing campaigns in Journey Builder. The campaign media value is properly set during the cloning process, so all campaign details carry over as expected.
Vouchers with issuance limit per customer excluded from journey campaigns
The voucher selection screen in journey campaigns now automatically filters out any vouchers that have an issuance limit per customer configured. This ensures only compatible vouchers are available for selection when building a journey.
