To upload and process a file containing the contacts you want to view in the single customer view segmentation, follow the steps below:

The accepted files for the index file list are: xls, xlsx and csv.
It's important to only upload a file that contains contacts matching records in the database. If the file doesn't include any matching data, the process will not work as expected.
Open the Single Customer View module, then click Contact Segmentation.
Click the Selections & Queries tab, then click the Add
icon by Indes File List.
In the displayed pop-up, drag and drop your file into the upload area, or click Click to select a file.
Once the file is uploaded, click Upload.
π€Tip: If you've mistakenly uploaded the wrong file, you can remove it. To remove an uploaded file, click the delete
icon and upload the correct one.Map the fields correctly:
Select the Please select the field you wish to map from the below list dropdown, and choose which column or data field from your file should be linked to the system.
Select the Map the selected field as dropdown, to define how the chosen field will be used in the system.
Click Submit.
From the displayed pop-up, indicating the total number of contacts that have been successfully mapped, click Confirm.
Drag and drop the select that appeared under the Index File list section into the Contact Selection box.
πNote: The created selection is not automatically saved in your data base, it's just a temporary display. If you want to save it, follow the instructions in this article.
