Add or remove survey questions rules

You can use show or hide rules to tailor questions based on each respondent’s answers.

Adding survey questions rules make the customer survey experience more engaging, while helping you collect more accurate insights for targeted campaigns and personalised follow-ups.

Add rules to your survey questions

To add or hide a question based on the response of another question, follow the steps below:

  1. Open the survey and click the Manage Rules icon.

  2. From the Display Conditions list, select Rule.

  3. For the Rule Type, select Show Rule or Hide Rule.

  4. Select the relevant option:

    • Hide/ show if any rule below is true.

    • Hide/ show if all of the rules below are true.

  5. Select the question on which the rule is based on its reply.

  6. Select answer selected or not selected and specify the Response Options.


Remove rules to your survey questions

To remove a survey question rule, follow the steps below:

  1. By the relevant question, click the add a new rule icon.

  2. Select Always visible.
